What We Believe

We believe there is one, and only one, living and true God, an infinite, intelligent Spirit, the Maker and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth, inexpressibly glorious in holiness and worthy of all possible honor, confidence and love; and that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in every divine perfection, and executing distinct, but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. Deut. 6:4; Eph. 4:6; 1 John 5:7

We believe in divine inerrancy and infallibility of the sixty-six books of the Bible. It is in fact, the very Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We believe that God the Son incarnated Himself in a perfect human body, lived a sinless life and died an substitutionary death. We believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY Savior of lost mankind. John 3:16

We believe He arose bodily from the grave where His body remained three days and nights. We believe He arose a victor over death, hell, and the grave.

1 Corinthians 15:3-5  

We believe that all men are sinners and therefore stand guilty before God. Only through personal repentance and faith can a person receive Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. Romans 3:23; 6:23; 10:9-13

We believe the New Testament church is a world-wide body of born again believers of Jesus Christ (the body of Christ).  We believe that a local church is a congregation of born-again baptized believers associated by a scriptural covenant of faith and fellowship of the gospel.  We believe the true mission of the church is found in the Great Commission: first, to make individual disciples; second, to baptize believers; and third, to teach and instruct as Christ commanded.
